Election Day is over, the holiday season is approaching, and many of us are longing for some changes and a break to the routine. Are you needing some resources to keep homeschooling fresh?
One thing that my husband and I bemoan every year is that Thanksgiving - which is such an important holiday historically, religiously, and patriotically - gets lost in the shuffle between Hallowe'en and Christmas. So I like to start earlier in November and do unit studies revolving around Thanksgiving. This year we are doing American History, so a study of the Pilgrims coming to the New World fits perfectly.
