Seems like I have been posting less and less this year and have been quite absent this summer. Part of that is because big things have been in the works. Now it's time for my BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!
I am the NEW OWNER of Knowledge Box Central!
I have been writing and working for Knowledge Box Central for about ten years. I hope my blog followers have grown to know and love our homeschooling lapbooks! I have grown to love this company and what we do, and so when the founder and former owner, Cyndi Kinney, with whom I have become dear friends over the years, decided to retire this summer, I decided to accept the mantle of leadership from her. I am so excited about this new opportunity!

There is so much going on in our country and our world right now. Are our kids safe? Do they have the resources they need to make it in today's competitive environment? What about character development? Will our children grow up to be people who care about others? People who take responsibility? People who are productive members of society? People of faith? What about our special needs children? Are they getting the attention they need?
If you have found yourself asking these questions, you might have considered homeschooling. I did, and then I decided it was not for me. I was definitely not interested. Forget it.
Then I changed my mind.
Almost 20 years later, I'm here with two successful college graduates, one successful college student, and one about to graduate from high school, all homeschooled from kindergarten through twelfth grade. And I'm writing and working for a homeschool publishing company. Never thought that would happen!
