Free QPs for "The Spring Pinks" at Sprouting Seeds Studio!

Sprouting Seeds Studio is continuing the paper packs collection with three colors for each season.  The first in this segment is The Spring Pinks, just released.  Since my girls LOVE pink, I'm sure I'll be using these over and over!  The papers are very versatile for any spring layouts.  Click image below to pick up these pretty papers from Sprouting Seeds Studio, but come back for the QPs below!  :)

There have been a few people asking about ideas for using these papers.  Over the next few releases, I will try to display some fresh ideas for using basic colors like this.  The first step is to think outside the box - or to think in multiple boxes, to be exact!  By layering these papers, you can come up with great monochromatic LOs that are a bit more interesting than a single sheet of pink patterned paper with a few pictures stuck on.

You can also get a great look by layering these papers with others in the collection.  Since this extended collection includes so many colors in similar patterns, you could easily make an entire album of similar-looking but different-colored complimentary pages!

If you've missed any of the colors, they are all still available on Sprouting Seeds Studio's site.  You may go directly to the post for The Greys that I used in the above LO by clicking on the preview below.

Click either image below to download the QPs from 4shared.  PU/S4H/S4O.  Happy Scrapping!

Spring Bouquet of Gifts

I probably should have posted this earlier, but now that I have gotten a number of the gifts, I am even more enthusiastic about this offer!

The Old Schoolhouse Magazine is a fantastic resource for home-schoolers.  If you are not receiving it yet, check out the website!

* Sign up for the weekly email newsletter, The Homeschool Minute.  This nugget of encouragement in my inbox each week has been tremendously helpful to me!

* If you subscribe to the magazine, you will have access to even more resources with The Teacher's Toolbox:  Unit Studies, Webquests, and free E-book downloads!

* There are currently a limited number of "19 Sweet Gifts" packages available for new subscribers.  I recently subscribed to the print magazine (after receiving the email newsletters for quite a few months), and I have received about half of these gifts so far.  THEY ARE FABULOUS!  I am so impressed with the extravagant and useful package that TOS has put together!

*  Visit the TOS site to download a free Sample Issue!

Happy Home-schooling!  :)

Riding the Blog Trains Continued - Freebie Quickpages

The other tremendously fun Blog Train this month is "Pirates Not Allowed" from The BlogTrain Blog.  Sprouting Seeds Studio also participated in this one, and I just had to make a Pirates LO.  Several designers along the way commented that perhaps train-riders were getting overloaded with "pirate"-themed elements, but for my part, with boys (and girls for that matter) who have loved and lived Peter Pan,  Pirates of the Caribbean and other pirate stories, I can't get enough pirate scrapbooking stuff!!

Click image below for a QP.  P/U only.  Both PNG and iRemember for Mac SBT files included.

Make sure you check all my Creative Team posts for Sprouting Seeds Studio, because I always include a free QuickPage.  And I believe all of Sprouting Seeds Studio's past freebies are still available on their site.  If you are new to digital scrapbooking, you could get quite a beginner's collection to start with!  Click on the image below to hop on the Blog Train at Sprouting Seeds Studio and download these great freebies!

Riding the Blog Trains

Oh, I just love the first day of the month!  Blog trains, scrapbooking store newsletters, new kits from clubs, it's like Christmas in Digi-Scrapping World! :)  How I would love to spend the whole day opening all my "gifts" and scrapping away with my free downloads, but alas, I have a house that needs cleaned and children who actually expect to be fed.  But I have enjoyed a few hours here with a cup of coffee and all my new downloads.  Here's a LO I made with Sprouting Seeds Studio's Blog Train contribution for Stuff to Scrap's "Read All About It" Blog Train.

Boy, have I got a plethora of "school" pictures I can scrap with all the goodies I downloaded from this Blog Train!  Here's a QP for you from the above page.  Click preview to download.  P/U only.

If you haven't taken a ride on the Blog Train yet, jump on at Sprouting Seeds Studio to download this portion of the kit.

No Foolin', have a Happy April!  :)
